Matt Merryman

Director of Business Development

Matt Merryman joined DHPC Technologies as Director of Business Development in December, 2010. Mr. Merryman is primarily responsible for creating and building customer relationships, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive internal and external business development plan in order to increase revenues and profit. He is the primary customer interface representing the company to current and new clients to identify solutions for their requirements. One of his main responsibilities is to constantly monitor both our existing customer base as well as the external environment to identify the potential for developing new relationships and market segments as well as adding further value to existing relationships. He has demonstrated abilities in market research and analysis, and his extensive experience has honed his organizational, planning, and management writing skills, as well as his oral communication skills and the ability to work with others. He understands the significant and unique role that DoD contractors play in making government programs a success, and he works closely with the other members of the executive leadership team to help grow our business.

Prior to joining DHPC Technologies, Mr. Merryman worked for BAE Systems, most recently in the position of Director, Army Aviation and Missiles Business Development for the Electronics Solutions Sector. His areas of expertise are Army Aviation Operations, Aviation Electronic Combat, Signals Intelligence, and Aviation Missiles.

Mr. Merryman enjoyed a 20-year career with the US Army, where he served in operational and staff assignments as a Dual Rated Aviator and as an Electronic Warfare SIGINT operator and analyst. Mr. Merryman's operational tours were with FORSCOM, INSCOM, SOUTHCOM and EUCOM. He also served with TRADOC at the Army Aviation Center as an ASE Training Systems Manager and Combat Developer.
