David H Pollock Consultants, Inc., DHPC, was founded in 1992, with the
intent to serve as a source of technical expertise to the Department of
Defense and it's affiliates in today's intelligence and information
warfare environment. DHPC offers technical and analytical advise and
research services.
Customers:
Some of our customers include US Army CECOM, TACOM; Naval Research
Laboratory, US SOCOM, OTD White Sands Missile Range, and US Air Force
ESC and US Air Force Research Lab.
Services:
DHPC offers technical and analytical advice and research services in fields such as:
- Advance electro-optical and infrared sensors
- Missile Warning Systems (MWS)
- Atmospheric interactions with electro-magnetic radiation
- Directional infrared countermeasure systems (IRCM)
- Laser sources
- Laser pointing and tracking systems
- Missile seeker and guidance tracker vulnerability and susceptibility evaluations
Experience:
In addition to intelligence and information warfare, DHPC has on-going
activities in modeling and simulation of sensor systems and
inter-platform data communications, and information integration.
Currently, DHPC is modeling sensors and simulating their integrated
performance for advanced situational awareness systems. The key to the
utility of these new situation awareness efforts is DHPC's incorporation
of data integration and fusion, and multi-function displays to present
the information in a clear manner for battlefield commanders.
Our Employees:
The DHPC staff consists of physicists, engineers, software designers and
project managers with extensive expertise in their fields. Staff
members have industry acknowledged expertise in all facets of sensor
technology including:
-
Models and simulations of multi-sensor systems
-
End-to-end models for real-time simulation of MWR/IRCM self-protection suites and other sophisticated sensor systems.
-
Complex gimbal / servo system models
-
Digital models of missiles integrated into battlefield simulations
-
Turnkey IR missile seeker effects lab with multi wavelength simulator capability
-
IR missile seeker models for determining vulnerability
-
Laser countermeasure aim point performance analysis
-
Directional IRCM systems for airborne platforms and ground vehicles
-
Exhaust plume look-through analysis
-
IRST for airborne and surface platform applications
Capabilities:
DHPC's corporate capabilities include proprietary models for sensor
parametric optimization, servo control and stabilization analysis,
evaluation of system sensor performance under vibration, and 6 DOF
missile fly-outs, and commercial models such as LOW TRAN, MODTRAN HI
TRAN/Fastcode and OSIC.
