We have an immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer in our Woodbridge, NJ location. Up to 10% travel may be required for system integration and test.

In this position, you will create manufacturing drawings using 3D CAD packages such as ProE, Catia, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance, which must be applied for and granted as a condition of continued employment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Three to five years of experience in the design and manufacture of optical, electrical, and mechanical components
- Experience with MIL STD testing, requirements, and design principles
- Working knowledge of machine shop practices
- Experience in mechanical design of military hardware systems ranging from brass board prototypes through pre-production level systems
- Technical experience concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and their limitations
- Experience with design of electro-optical systems including hermetic enclosures
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD packages (SolidWorks, ProE, etc.)
- Ability to perform stress and thermal analysis
- Experience with military ground or air platform integration, planning and development of experimental test procedures, and analysis of test data to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
Master's degree is a plus
