We have opportunities for Software Engineers/Real Time Programmers in our Woodbridge, NJ office. The project will require an initial six-month client engagement on-site in Washington, DC. Travel and per diem for this time is covered by DHPC.
Overview
In this position, your role will be Lead Software Engineer on a small DoD research and development project. You will be responsible for architecture development, algorithm design, implementation, test, and demonstration. The environment is C/C++ in a RedHawk LINUX PC OS environment. Code needs to be ported from a VxWorks to POSIX and from Windows Visual C to LINUX.

- Experience in the area of real-time algorithm development with applications to image processing and object tracking.
- 2+ years of professional experience programming real-time systems with C/C++ in the RedHawk LINUX environment. Experience with VxWorks a plus.
- At least a BS degree in CS, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
