Modeling Simulation Software Engineer

We have immediate opportunities for a Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer in our Aberdeen MD location. Up to 10% travel may be required.
Overview
In this position, you will serve as a member of our Software Engineering team supporting a US Army Avionics directorate dealing with aircraft sensor integration and aircraft survivability. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble large numbers of modeling & simulation runs with an existing tool, and be able to understand and check the results.

The ideal candidate will have:

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance, which must be applied for and granted as a condition of continued employment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Three years minimum DoD Software Engineering experience
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Strong interest in using computers for analysis
- Experience with EO/IR systems, preferably missiles or missile warning systems
- Strong engineering/analysis background with proven ability to plan, carry out, document, and present results of analysis
- BS in Engineering or Physics to understand the subject matter (missile/threat engagements)
